Electrical Engineer

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a Manufacturing client near the Detroit Michigan area to help fill an Electrical Engineer position. This position provides an opportunity to expand your skillset within a dynamic environment. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to the entire product development lifecycle, from design and manufacturing to testing and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

Proven experience in electronic hardware design, encompassing circuit design, PCB layout, and prototyping.

Conduct simulations and analysis to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Oversee the manufacturing process of electrical products, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.

Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues related to electrical components.

Lead or contribute to the development of electrical products and systems from concept to production.

Perform risk assessments related to electrical systems.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all design and manufacturing processes.

Conduct root cause analysis for electrical failures or issues, implementing corrective actions to improve product reliability.

Analyze test results and implement necessary design modifications for continuous improvement.

Participate in regular meetings with customers and internal stakeholders to provide project status and/or technical information.

Train field engineers for electrical systems data capture.

Assist in preparing proposals and presenting to clients.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.

Professional Engineer License

Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines.
