**Position is Monday through Friday 5am-2pm**
Central Transport, LLC, leader in LTL (less-than-truckload) transportation for more than 90 years is currently seeking an office Analyst at our Corporate Office in Warren, MI. We are in search of an experienced, computer savvy individual who is ready to take the next step in their career. This role is a critical position to analyzing various types of freight, handling missing and oversized shipments, and customer perception of our organization.
Please note that this is an IN-PERSON role, located at our company headquarters in Warren, MI.
As a Logistics Analyst, you must have excellent attendance and be able to work the same schedule each week. Our Analysts have superior computer and ‘people’ skills and are able to handle a variety of scenarios with the ability to think on their feet. Job Responsibilities:
Research issues using available information resources and if necessary, redirect issues to appropriate resources and or escalates issues requiring urgent attention
Collaborate with operations to process RPLs, shortages & damaged cargo
Conduct freight inspections to ensure compliance with company standards & industry regulations
Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns & areas for improvement
Develop & maintain comprehensive documentation of quality control processes & procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:

Superior communication skills including listening, speaking, reading, writing
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times
Superior analytical skills with the ability to interpret data & identify opportunities for improvement
Excellent attention to detail, a sense of urgency & a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint preferred but not required
Salary and Benefits:
Starting Pay $21.00 per hour and up based upon experience
