System Engineering Manager

Role: Systems Engineering Manager

We've partnered with a Fortune 500 company, a dominating leader in the intelligence industry (no missiles involved). They're working on creating new technologies that can make transportation more safe, efficient, and eco-friendly, offering various services to help with the implementation and deployment that connect vehicles to infrastructure.

We're looking for a Systems Engineering Manager who's excited to be in a fast-paced environment where you can work with state and local DOTs and CAV technology vendors, as well as lead a team of developers.

Engineering life cycle activities will include detailed software design, coding, unit testing, automated test planning and development, software integration, configuration management, version control, system testing, user documentation, customer interaction, and team management.

Requirements:

B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant fields

Hands-on experience with Java and/or C++

Knowledge of ITS and V2X or control systems

Strong knowledge of systems engineering methodologies

Experience working on Agile projects (i.e. Jira and Confluence)

3+ years experience in managing teams

8+ years of prior relevant experience; Master's Degree with 6+ years of prior relevant experience
