We are currently sourcing for a Senior Financial Analyst to support a one of our clients in the Bay Area.

Duration: 6+ months

Manufacturing Industry experience is a must have

Position Overview:

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes. You will be responsible for providing insightful analysis, strategic recommendations, and actionable insights to support decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the manufacturing industry, coupled with hands-on experience with QuickBooks.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business decisions, including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators and trends for senior management.

Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency enhancements within the finance function, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Assist in the development of pricing strategies, cost analyses, and profitability assessments for new and existing products.

Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by senior leadership.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting principles and inventory management.

Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and variance analysis.

Hands-on experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.

Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
