Senior Derivatives Operations Officer

Hamlyn Williams have partnered with a top tier financial institution looking to bring on a Senior Derivatives Operation Manager to assist with derivative middle-office trade support, data management, investment accounting oversight, and derivative legal compliance.

In this role you will:

Work closely with Derivative Portfolio Management, Derivative Trading, Legal, Treasury, and Investment Accounting to support end-to-end trade processing and data management for a variety of derivative products.

Work closely with foreign and domestic investment banks to manage settlements associated with derivative trade events, margin requirements, cash management, and collateral.

Assist management with operational support for strategic initiatives and projects, including the implementation of new processes, systems, investment products, and hedging strategies.

In this role you will need:

Bachelor’s degree (in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, MIS, or related field) or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience required.

4+ years of progressive responsibility and experience in finance, accounting, or related industry required.

Knowledge of and prior experience with Derivative post-trade workflows required.

Experience with collateral management, bilateral variation margin, bilateral initial margin, futures and cleared swap margining, and portfolio reconciliation

Project management experience a plus
