Western Pacific Building Materials operates 6 manufacturing and distribution facilities in

Colorado, Oregon, Texas and Washington and is recognized as the nation’s largest and most experienced independent millwork distribution company for new home construction. Due to positive market growth and retiring sales people, we have a limited number of positions for individuals looking for a rewarding long-term selling career in a supportive and stable company environment.

On average our sales team and customers will stay in the industry for 30 years, which creates the opportunity for a long- term rewarding career.

Summary:

Relationship selling of windows, doors and millwork to the new home construction industry.

Essential Responsibilities & Expectations:

Establish an account base of new home contractors to generate $4,000,000+ of annual sales through prospecting and lead follow-up

Quote projects and prepare sales orders

Design solutions for home builders

Problem-solve challenging situations

Qualifications & Desired Skills:

Ability to build positive long-term relationships with customers and company employees

Strong organization and project management skills

Self-motivated with a strong drive for achievement

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to speak in front of others

Ability to maintain a positive, professional, constructive attitude as a team player

Dependable, prompt and reliable

Ability to follow a proven sales order process and respond positively to feedback

Effectively manage time, set a schedule that aligns with home construction industry hours, and prioritize key activities

Compensation:

Salary, monthly sales commission, expenses, PTO, health insurance, dental, vision, 401K match and life insurance. OTE: year one $62,000.00, year five $130,000, year ten $200,000.00.
