We are looking for a Vice President Sales who will be responsible for our fast growing US Sales team. The position of Vice President Sales is a direct selling responsible for all aspects of the lead generation and sales process. You are responsible for all aspects of customer development, customer interaction including presentation, contract negotiation and closing new business. This is a position which requires a strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial spirit which is driven to proactively solve problems and deliver results. You will report to the Vice President Global Sales who is located in Drachten, the Netherlands. Strategic thinking, management experience and experience to grow business and teams is a must.

Responsibilities:

a strategic business plan that addresses how to meet and exceed annual targets.

lead, develop, and support new and existing Sales team members

strategic discussions with assigned accounts and prospects that help us better understand their needs and position us for future growth and a differentiated value proposition.

revenue opportunities based on providing customers with an integrated solution with our product portfolio.

contact with new customers to identify business opportunities.

relationships with key company personnel to include Supply Chain, Trade Relations/ Trade Markets and leadership personnel at C- level.

business agreements to key decision makers to review business terms and conditions, verify customer understanding, and confirm customer expectations.

customer contracts, issues and gaps, and sign new contracts

engage with new prospects to drive revenue growth and product strategies.

Skills and Experience Requirements:

We are looking for a pro-active and self-driven colleague with the right balance in personal and content skills and who has the ability to synchronize with other cultures.

15 years of experience and network in Logistics/Supply Chain Solutions/Material Handling

in growing business and teams, people manager

degree in related field

to work well in a collaborative environment and lead teams that are involved in sales pursuits

in selling material handling or packing solutions within retail and ecommerce supply chain network

interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective customer and employee relationships

planning and strong communication management skills

experience with CRM and social media (Linkedln and other platforms)

skills to structure and solve logistics problems for packing automation

to travel within US and open to travel to The Netherlands several times a year
