Our client, a leading private equity firm in Midtown Manhattan is looking for a Compliance Coordinator/Associate to join their team. This role will assist the CCO to ensure the organization is in compliance with all regulations, laws, and policies. The Compliance Coordinator/Associate's responsibilities include delivering employee training, evaluating compliance activities, and acting as a liaison within the organization to ensure the firm meets all policies and laws that are required.

HOURS: 9am - 6pm (with flexibility) HYBRID 4 days in /1 day remote
COMPENSATION: $80-110k DOE
Responsibilities
Consulting with the General Counsel/CCO and advising leadership and management on compliance matters
Developing and providing employee training on compliance policies, practices, and reporting systems
Identifying, investigating, and reporting compliance issues, irregularities, and violations
Maintain records of compliance activities and in consultation with the CCO, respond to compliance-related requests
Prepare and file compliance reports
Assist in and own portions of annual compliance review, policies and process improvements
Draft and revise company compliance policies
Respond to Questions and review marketing materials for compliance with governing rules
Assist with and oversee AML checks and KYC queries
Qualifications
BSc/BA in law, finance, business administration or a related field
Professional certification (e.g. Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) is a plus
2-3 years’ work experience as a Compliance Analyst, Associate or similar role
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong skillset in documentation and reporting
Ability to ask questions, incorporate information, and apply guidance across different factual situations
Responsiveness, positive attitude, integrity, with a high attention to detail and ability to understand business context
Verification of identity, education, prior employment, and references may be required
