Job Description:

The Traveling Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction process, from planning and scheduling to project completion. This position requires full-time travel to various project sites, primarily focusing on light industrial and commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.

Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets quality standards.

Develop and maintain project schedules, including resource allocation and sequencing of work.

Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates and address any concerns or issues that may arise.

Manage subcontractor relationships, including procurement, scheduling, and performance evaluation.

Prepare and submit progress reports, budget updates, and other project documentation as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred).

Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on healthcare/commercial projects.

Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

Knowledge of construction best practices, building codes, and safety regulations.

Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Willingness to travel extensively and work in various locations as needed.
