Pharma Project Manager, Commercial

CMK Select, a specialized project management consulting firm dedicated exclusively to the Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences industry is hiring a Senior Project Manager to support our Pharma client on key Brand initiatives. Working in lock-step with each Point of Contact across all workstreams/functions associated with the Brand ((Marketing, Medical, Patient Services, HEOR, Compliance, etc.), the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for driving activities aimed to elevate the team into being more effective and efficient in delivering key projects and deliverables, as well as having a greater sense of ‘readiness’ around deliverables. Acting as a ‘thought partner,’ the Project Manager in this highly visible role will be responsible for pulling the team’s strategy through to execution.

The Project Manager, Commercial, will keep a variety of workstreams organized, enabling them to meet their deliverable deadlines. The Project Manager will NOT be working on specific deliverables for the marketing team, but rather the planning, execution and flow of materials being developed by ALL workstreams that funnel into this specific Brand.

The Project Manager’s primary focus will include:

developing detailed project plans (timelines, milestones, review meetings with stakeholders, project risks/mitigations, tasks/assignments) for key projects;

managing recurring deliverables (monthly business reviews, leadership update communications);

managing workstreams for the Brand’s product strategy team and sub-teams (Focus Areas, tactical planning);

monitoring project progress and risks, collecting regular updates from assigned tasks and team members, and maintaining status/KPI summaries;

generating recurring project status and KPI reports to share with the Product Strategy Team and key stakeholders;

minute management: generating, disseminating and follow up (identify & track actions & decisions).

To excel in this position, the Senior Project Manager must possess ALL of the following:

Project Management experience specific to Commercial Pharmaceutical initiatives

Capacity to manage multiple priorities, processes, timelines, and expectations of multiple stakeholder groups

Experience with MS Project, GANNT, and/or Smartsheet to develop and manage project plans

Ability to work in a hybrid capacity (2-3 days per week in our client’s Parsippany, NJ area office).

This is a Senior Associate level position at CMK Select, with an initial compensation between $150,000.00 - $170,000. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
