Quality Engineer

The Quality Engineer drives continuous improvement in the manufacturing and production operation to ensure products meet customer satisfaction and quality goals. A strong focus on continuous improvement and communication across various levels in the organization.

Responsibilities:

Maintain quality objectives in order to maximize product reliability through root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Maintain the Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001.

Drive improvement in key KPIs related to quality.

Oversee corrective and preventative actions; review material test reports for customer compliance.

Prepare PPAP submission packages.

Investigate and resolve quality issues that arise from suppliers and customers.

Create manufacturing process plans and FMEAs.

Maintain compliance requirements by agencies; participate in quality audits.

Requirements:

Four-year educational degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 3 years experience in quality engineering.

Experience in Industrial Manufacturing.

ISO 9001 experience required.

Preference for background in First Article/PPAP, CAR/PAR and KPI tracking methodologies.

Strong analytical and reporting skills, including Microsoft Excel.
