Our boutique probate and estate litigation firm is seeking a legal receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring at least one year of receptionist or administrative assistant experience, demonstrating a strong grasp of client communication, data entry, clerical tasks, and excellent computer skills. Candidates skilled with e-file, bookkeeping, and client intake are preferred.
We are looking for a reliable, flexible individual who can work independently and efficiently in a high-volume office setting. Punctuality and organizational skills are key to success in this role.
Skills/Attributes Needed:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Accurate typing skills and data entry proficiency
Clerical expertise
Strong computer skills (knowledge of QuickBooks Online, Clio, and/or NetDocuments is a plus)
Friendly team player with a pleasant phone voice
Prior law firm or professional office experience preferred
Responsibilities Include:
Handling incoming calls on a multi-line telephone system
Welcoming clients and visitors and providing hospitality services
Scheduling and coordinating client appointments
Managing conference room schedules
Maintaining public areas like reception area, conference rooms, and break room
Managing office supplies and placing orders
Performing document-related tasks such as scanning, photocopying, faxing, and filing
E-filing pleadings and other documents
Witnessing and/or notarizing legal documents
Collecting, routing, and organizing mail and packages
Entering crucial client data into the law firm management system

Pay: TBD based on experience
Work Location: Dallas (635 and the Tollway)
