Position Goals:
Execute general handyman tasks at multiple sites. Assist the Facilities Management Team to coordinate efficient and professional facilities and property operations. Huge potential for career progression in the property management industry.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide superior customer service to meet on-site client’s expectations
Vendor Management of maintenance providers in accordance with JLLs vendor management guidelines.
Ensure staff, contractors and visitors comply with, health and safety guidelines, policies and rules.
Responsibility for escorting vendors in a high security environment
Ensure full compliance with all security guidelines, policies and rules
Review contractor Permits & Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) prior to works being undertaken on site
Assist to coordinate maintenance activities, including the efficient completion of Work Requests on database.
Assist to conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure all building procedures and performance measures are complied with
Seek ways to constantly improve operational standards
Support requests associated with Jones Lang LaSalle Management, Operations and Financial audits
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong in understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in the built environment
Demonstrated handyman experience
Very strong customer service ability
Fluent Malay and English language required. Ability to speak Mandarin an advantage
Able to cooperate and work well with others to meet targets
Able to interact with all levels client staff and vendors confidently and with ease, including senior client stakeholders
Problem-solving skills – capacity to deal with ambiguity and solve complex problems effectively
Able to work independently and responsibly with minimal supervision
Prioritize and manage the completion of operational works in an efficient and timely manner
Ability to quickly learn how to use any Company required software may be required
Competent writing and presentation skills (in English)
Basic business finance knowledge an advantage.
