Will be responsible for managing the Local books accounts and its requirement to be involved thoroughly with the business processes and functioning. Must gain keen understanding of the flow of business and help in decision making.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Updation of Books of accounts on regular basis including Data entries for Banking, Payables, Receivables etc
Updation of Salary Entries, Journals etc. on a periodic basis
Handling Bank reconciliations, Debtor reconciliation, Creditors reconciliation and other Ledger reconciliation on timely basis
Regular follow ups for Accounts receivable, query resolution over emails
Keeping tab on Expense register, highlighting unusual deviations, follow up for ITC etc.
Thorough review of data, preparation of Invoices, credit notes etc.
Assist in Data preparation for Audits as per Auditor requirements.
Other MIS Reports and Cashflow preparation and treasury tasks
Handle Treasury Functions - Bank Payments, Cheque preparation, Co ordination with Banks
Aware of functioning of Net Banking facilities and Maker Checker Functions.
Weekly Co ordination with Different department personnel's, acquiring data, presenting reports etc.
Compliances:
Must have experience in handling Direct tax Compliances (TDS, Equalization Levy, Advance Tax etc.)
Must have experience in handling GST Compliances (TDS, Equalization Levy, Advance Tax etc.)
Must prepare Tax working and file necessary returns on periodic basis
Must have hands on experience in filing GSTR1, GSTR3B, performing reconciliation on regular basis
Reconciliation of TDS Receivables with 26AS
Needs to be aware of recent changes in Tax laws affecting business
Requirements:
Must have Knowledge of Indian Account Standards, GAAP & IFRS Reporting Standards
Work Experience of 3-4 years in Accounts Profile
Should be effective in adhering timelines and due dates
Should be able to handle pressure and take responsibility of its own work
Should be Tech Savvy and Aware of current web technology and tools
Should have Keen Eye for Details and Micro management
Excellent written and oral communication; must have the ability to partner and communicate well at all levels within the organization
Strong organizing and planning skills, ability to multi-task
Ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision
Must know how to work on Accounting software's (Tally ERP, Tally Prime etc.)
