Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate closely with Marketing and Research & Development teams to delineate project objectives, translating intricate process designs into precise equipment specifications and comprehensive project plans.

2. Assess and recommend the most fitting technology solutions, meticulously estimating project costs and timelines while ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations through effective consensus-building.

3. Provide strategic direction and actively engage in both technical and commercial negotiations with vendors, ensuring seamless procurement of equipment and engineering essentials essential for projects and ongoing maintenance.

4. Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, diligently ensuring that projects are executed in accordance with predefined deliverables, encompassing stringent adherence to schedules, budgetary constraints, and performance benchmarks.

5. Play a pivotal role in critical decisions pertaining to site selection and the acquisition of requisite statutory permissions, thereby facilitating the seamless initiation and execution of projects in compliance with regulatory standards.

6. Offer invaluable strategic insights to the senior leadership team, drawing from an astute understanding of technology trends and anticipating future improvement scenarios to shape the trajectory of forthcoming projects.

7. Act as a conduit between the Research & Development team and project execution, effectively communicating and implementing desired process changes to optimize project outcomes.

8. Extend unwavering support to the commissioning team, proactively addressing process-related challenges and facilitating timely resolutions to ensure the seamless operationalization of projects.

9. Provide inspirational leadership to the process design and projects team, nurturing talent and fostering a culture of excellence to facilitate their evolution into a cohesive and high-performing unit.

We are seeking a Graduate Chemical Engineer with a proven track record in project management within organizations renowned for their exemplary process and project practices. The ideal candidate will have held leadership roles for a minimum of two years, overseeing projects with an annual value exceeding 250 to 350 cr.

Requirements:

Technical Expertise: Proficiency in chemical processes, particularly within the Crop Protection Business, is essential. The candidate should possess in-depth knowledge and understanding of chemical processes relevant to Agro chemical industry.

2.The candidate should have practical experience in process design, along with exposure to various disciplines related to project execution. This hands-on experience ensures a comprehensive understanding of project requirements and facilitates effective collaboration across teams.

Project Software Proficiency: Proficiency in project management software is crucial for efficient project planning, monitoring, and control. The candidate should be adept at utilizing project management tools to streamline project workflows and ensure timely delivery.

Flexibility and Travel: The role requires flexibility and willingness to travel to factory locations and vendor sites as necessary.
