Diesel Technician/Mechanic (Day and Night shifts available, shift premiums provided for night shift)

Job Summary:

The primary duties of a Gas/Diesel Technician/Mechanic include performing diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles to find faults, analyzing diagnostic test results, and repairing or replacing engine, steering, transmission, braking or lighting system components.

Diesel Mechanic/Technician Responsibilities:

Maintain records of services for clients and the company.

Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil and checking batteries.

Performing inspections on trucks and providing accurate/timely documentation.

Install emissions control systems in accordance with pollution control regulations.

Operate hydraulic jacks or hoists to safely raise and lower vehicles and other equipment.

Uphold engine safety standards in accordance with federal and state vehicle requirements.

Inspect diesel vehicles and identify issues through diagnostic tests, test drives, physical examinations, and visual inspections.

Diesel Mechanic/Technician Qualifications:

Diesel ASE certification preferred.

CDL certification preferred. (We will assist to obtain)

Self-motivated and professional

High school diploma or equivalent required.

PA State Inspection License, or willingness to obtain, preferred.

At least 2 years of Fleet or Dealership experience preferred.
