Prestonwood Country Club is seeking an energetic and creative Chef to lead our culinary staff in our a la carte restaurant. This is a hands-on position in which you will be responsible for the creation, pricing and production of all of the restaurant seasonal menus and daily specials while working closely with our Executive Chef and the FOH restaurant team. Main Job Responsibilities include:

Ability to interact and cater to members and guests with professionalism and a high level of customer service

Directly prepare or supervise all sauces, soups, proteins, vegetables, starches, salads and sushi for the menu.

Evaluate production of all food items to ensure quality and timely food service.

Oversees any buffet set ups and presentation used for Restaurant functions and special events.

Responsible for Setting up, maintaining, and breaking down of all Restaurant buffets

Assist with hiring, scheduling and training restaurant culinary staff.

Responsible for ordering all items used for the kitchen and assist the Executive Chef with monthly inventory.

Ensure high standards of sanitation and cleanliness are maintained at all times in the kitchen.

Exercise portion control of the menu and private party items and establish controls to minimize food waste and theft.

Possess a professional demeanor and attitude, and have excellent communication skills.

Must possess strong organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks in a high volume environment.JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Three (3) to Five (5) years experience as a Restaurant/Sous Chef. Preferably Associates' or Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts with Private Club experience.

Competitive Salary from $62,000-$65,000 per year depending on experience.
