This is an opportunity to work independently for a fast-growing, local company. We are seeking a well-rounded, self-starter who has enough mechanical experience to repair/ maintain water machines.
Servicing of a water machine includes but is not limited to cleaning, merchandising, collecting money and minor mechanical repairs. Servicing is completed in a standard company owned box truck and training provided.
Please note, this is a Monday - Friday position, however you may be required to travel during the week by truck to service various locations. Hotels, gas and per diem provided by the company.
Responsibilities:
Install, service, adjust, repair and clean water machines.
Performs minor repairs or adjustments on machines to correct jams or similar malfunctions using hand tools.
Collects funds from machines according to company policy.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Produce timely and detailed service reports and document processes in a timely manner.
Operate vehicles in a safe manner and use field automation systems.
Maintain positive customer experience to resolve, follow up, and follow through on all open support calls.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential.
Test machines to determine proper functioning.Requirements:
Proven Field Service experience preferably in Vending/Service Fields.
Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
Be able to read and write in English.
Ability to adapt to changing work schedules according to business needs.
Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.
Must have a valid Driver’s License (No CDL required) with good driving history.
Must be willing to consent to a background check.
Preferred:
A technical degree or certification is preferred but not required.
At least 2 full years of vending/water field experience preferred but not required.
