Lead Cable Puller

Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Fiber Puller Crew Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in telecommunications, specifically in fiber optic installation, and will lead a crew equipped with their own reel trailer and puller equipment.

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a crew of fiber pullers in the installation and maintenance of fiber optic networks.

Coordinate with project managers to plan and execute installation projects efficiently.

Ensure that installations are completed according to specifications and quality standards.

Operate and maintain reel trailers, puller equipment, and other tools required for fiber optic installation.

Provide on-the-job training and guidance to crew members as needed.

Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.

Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecommunications, with a focus on fiber optic pulling and installation.

5 + years leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and coordinate a project and team.

Experience operating reel trailers and puller equipment.

Proficiency in fiber optic installation techniques and best practices.

Strong understanding of telecommunication systems and equipment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Certification in fiber optic splicing or related field.

Experience with fusion splicing and OTDR testing.

Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

Note: Must have own Reel Trailer and puller.

8 hour shift

Day shift

Evening shift

Monday to Friday
