Job Summary:

The Porches Inn at MASS MoCA is seeking a Seasonal Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team in North Adams, Massachusetts. This individual contributor role is a seasonal, hourly position with biweekly compensation of $16 per hour. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for assisting with breakfast service for our guests and ensuring a positive and memorable experience.

Responsibilities:

- Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet, ensuring food is fresh and presented appealingly

- Greet guests and answer any questions about breakfast or hotel services

- Take orders and ensure accuracy in food and beverage items

- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction

- Clear and reset tables for the next guests

- Assist with cleaning and maintaining the breakfast area, including wiping down tables and restocking items

- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards

-Break down the breakfast buffet and stock all the items

-Clean the dishes

- Communicate any guest feedback or issues to the manager for resolution

-Lobby and breakfast room cleaning after breakfast.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting preferred

- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to anticipate guest needs

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task

- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift to 30 pounds
