Brake Press Machine Operator - Now Hiring

Job Description

As a Press Brake Operator, your primary responsibility will be to operate machinery for the manipulation and fabrication of metals. We are seeking candidates who have significant experience in brake press operations, preferably with at least one year of specific experience working with metal.

Weekly pay of $17.00 - $20.00/ hr. DOE

Occasional OT - some weekends required.

Press Brake Operator Tasks & Duties (What you'll do)

Machine Setup: Set up brake press machinery based on job specifications.

Material Preparation: Load and unload metal sheets onto the brake press machine, ensuring proper positioning and alignment.

Operation: Operate brake press machinery to bend and shape metal sheets according to blueprints, drawings, or work orders.

Quality Assurance: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, including dimensions, angles, and surface finishes.

Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on brake press machinery, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts, to ensure optimal performance.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Press Brake Operator Shift Info

Day Shift, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Monday - Friday

Press Brake Operator Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)

Previous experience as Metal Press Operator, Sheet Metal Fabricator, Press Brake Operator, CNC Machine operator, or Metal Fabrication.

Good understanding of metalworking processes, including bending, forming, and shaping metal sheets.

Ability to interpret measurements, angles, and dimensions specified in blueprints or drawings and able to make precise calculations to ensure accurate bending and forming of metal sheets.

Attention to detail to ensure that finished products meet quality standards and specifications.

Able to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and perform repetitive tasks.

Prioritize safety and always adhere to safety procedures and guidelines, should be familiar with safety equipment, hazards associated with machinery operation, and techniques for accident prevention.

Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
