Job Title: Dump Truck Driver

Overview: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a dump truck to transport and deliver materials to various job sites. The Dump Truck Driver will also assist in the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and maintaining the vehicle in optimal condition.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate and maneuver a dump truck to transport materials to designated locations.

Load and unload materials onto the truck bed, ensuring secure and balanced placement.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety regulations.

Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating the dump truck.

Maintain a clean and organized truck, performing routine maintenance and minor repairs as needed.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate deliveries and ensure timely transportation of materials.

Follow proper procedures for the safe and responsible dumping of materials at designated sites.

Report any incidents, accidents, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel promptly.

Uphold a commitment to safety by following established safety guidelines and protocols.

Requirements:

Valid commercial driver's license (Class A CDL) with a clean driving record.

Proven experience as a dump truck driver or in a similar role (2yrs experience required)

Familiarity with operating dump trucks and handling various materials.

Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance.

Strong commitment to safety practices and protocols.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Physical ability to load and unload materials and perform tasks associated with the position.

Willingness to work flexible hours and potentially on weekends or evenings based on project needs.

Attention to detail and a focus on maintaining the integrity of transported materials.

Preferred:

Experience with different types of dump truck configurations (e.g., end dump, side dump, etc.).

Additional certifications or training in transportation safety or equipment operation.
