Job Description
Shearon Environmental Design, one of the area’s leading landscaping design/build firms, is searching for an Accounting Assistant responsible for various accounting and payroll functions as assigned at our Downingtown location.
Responsibilities include:
Weekly timesheets coding and processing payroll
Help determine payroll policies, procedures, and ensure pay checks are accurate and timely
Manage and ensure the processing of new hires, seasonal workers, terminations, and related information in accurate and timely
Critically review and analyze payroll data to ensure accuracy
Assist in snow tracking hours and snow timesheets postings & billings
Help with Human Resources and H2B process as needed
Weekly billings (Construction AIAs & Maintenance and Interior) and all related reporting
Accounts Receivable Follow Up
Updating planned hours and contracts as required
Miscellaneous office functions and special projects
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Payroll and the billing process
Familiar with Excel, Quantum and Sage software
Full time / Permanent - 40 hrs a week
