Responsibilities:
Support safety and quality programs
Set-up and operate CNC Lasers.
Review work orders and specifications
Follow set up procedures, quality checks, and dimensions of finished workpiece.
Remove burrs and stage parts for next process.
Read and interpret provided prints and specifications.
Download program file to machine controller.
Perform 1st piece inspection.
Observe/listen to machine to detect malfunctions.
Operate fork trucks to move product
Gather, count, deburr, stack product as required.
Cleans and organizes work area.
Qualifications:
Basic Math background and comfort level.
Speak, write and comprehend conversational English.
Strong attention to detail.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Fork Truck: Requires a valid drivers license
You should be proficient in:
Machine Setups for Production Runs
Blueprint Reading
Quality Inspection Experience
Programming Machine Vision Systems
Deburring Experience
Machines & technologies you'll use:
Calipers and Micrometers
CNC Laser Cutter (Trumpf)
Vertical Lathe
Forklifts
Salary info:
$17 - $21 / hr
