Responsibilities:

What will you do?

The Nurse Manager is responsible for direction and supervision of daily patient care activities in the ambulatory setting or other equivalent care setting. Additional responsibilities include:

Assisting with development of protocols and policies governing infection control, quality management and improvement, sedation, orientation, continuing education and performance management.

Ensuring staff work within their respective scope of practice when delivering care in accordance with internal and external standards, protocols and policies.

Demonstrate leadership ability and clinical competency in nursing care in an ambulatory setting.

Demonstrate a high level of professional integrity and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.

Performs and meets competencies for non-invasive testing; nuclear cardiovascular stress testing in collaboration with a nuclear cardiologist, stress echocardiogram stress testing in collaboration with a cardiovascular sonographer, treadmill stress testing, ventilation perfusion (VO2) stress testing (if applicable at location), holter monitors, electrocardiograms

Performs intravenous (IV) insertion, assessment and discontinuation of therapy according to policy and procedures. Appropriately administers and documents IV cardiovascular imaging enhancement agents during select echocardiogram procedures. Appropriately administers and documents IV agitated saline during select echocardiogram procedures

Qualifications:

What are we looking for in our next new hire?

Baccalaureate degree in nursing.

Valid license to practice as a registered nurse in Ohio.

Must demonstrate leadership ability and clinical competence in nursing care of adults.

Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication and continuing professional self-development.

Must maintain current CPR and ACLS certification

A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience

At least 2 years of cardiology, critical, or emergency care experience

Preferences:

Masters degree in nursing.

Ambulatory healthcare experience.

Pay Range:

USD $90,616.00 - USD $(phone number removed) /Yr.
