Description:

The Delivery Technician effectively interacts with patients/clients, their families, caregivers, and members of the healthcare/HME team in providing professional home medical equipment products and services. Provides delivery set-up, initial instruction, and pick-up of HME.

Responsibilities

Practice safe driving habits and proper safety precautions.

Responsible for vehicle and equipment while on delivery/pickups.

Be able to assess home safety and patient needs.

Perform equipment set up, instruction and education.

Pickup of equipment following proper procedures.

Complete orders in an efficient and timely manner.

Treat patients with kindness and compassion.

On call on a rotating basis, responding quickly within company guidelines.

Follow all company policies and procedures. Requirements:

HS Diploma or GED

Must have valid driver’s license

Ability to obtain D.O.T. medical card

Must possess strong communication skills

Must be organized and detail oriented

Basic math and keyboard proficiency

Ability to lift heavy equipment (upwards of 50 pounds)

Familiarity with the local area and ability to navigate using GPS

Functional skills on a computers and mobile devices (Android or iOS)
