Under general supervision from the Revenue Manager, this position performs professional duties in coordinating, implementing, and supervising in-park revenue generating events to include: birthday, baby shower, proposals, celebrations, private events, weddings, birthdays, corporate functions, as well as providing assistance to our programming and operations departments on revenue related elements of signature events such as festivals, concerts, performances, and other events as assigned.

Essential Functions:

Coordinates event activities across Operations, Culinary, Programming and other Departments as necessary to plan and execute various special events booked by the client.

Provide all forms of necessary guidance and communication needed to assist with the implementation of these events, while actively participating in the set-up and execution of events to ensure best practices are followed.

Understands and can effectively communicate details of the layouts of the facilities and the events.

Works closely with all aspects of Revenue and Operations Management from event start to finish.

Assists Revenue Manager to coordinate set-up and manage all revenue generating special events and in-park revenue generating locations.

Maintain correspondence across internal departments as it pertains to special events and revenue generating locations.

Execute events to include preparation, setup, duration, reset of the event, payment processing and invoices.

Attend a variety of training seminars, staff meetings, and community meetings.

Monitor assets and merchandise product in accordance with established procedures to control costs for the client and the park.

May perform emergency custodial maintenance or operations work involving event elements.

Other duties as assigned.Requirements:

Must be able to work with the public, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and work under deadlines.

Outgoing personality and able to interact with a variety of community partners and interdepartmental relationships.

Must be able to work independently and as a team member.

Must have experience with large scale event execution.

Able to work and manage third-party vendor relationships for rental or purchase of goods and services necessary to drive private events and in-park revenue opportunities.

Able to multitask while maintaining efficiency, establish priorities and proceed with objectives.

Excellent work ethic takes pride in their work, and pays close attention to detail, self-starter.

Able to maintain a professional appearance, and establish positive working relationships.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to be creative and an out of the box thinker.

Highly organized, able to establish and maintain office organization both formal and informal.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of two years in the hospitality industry.

Completion of High School Diploma or GED.

Ability to obtain a food handlers certification and Oklahoma beverage server license within 180 days from hire.

Able to communicate effectively with managers and employee personnel.

Ability to work holidays, nights and weekends as required for events and programs.

Physical Demands:

Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.

Must be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, etc.

Must be able to work in a typical interior restaurant work environment, in which you may be exposed to various sights, smells, and loud noises.
