Desert Winds Hospital, a leading healthcare provider specializing in mental health and wellness, is currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an Inpatient Acute Psych Review Nurse. This position offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the care and management of our inpatient psychiatric patients, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care during their stay with us.

Location: Desert Winds Hospital

Shifts: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Position Type: Full-Time

Department: Inpatient Psychiatric UnitKey Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive reviews of patient cases in the inpatient acute psychiatric unit.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Participate in continuous education and training to stay abreast of the latest practices in psychiatric nursing.Requirements:

Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Previous experience in psychiatric nursing or a related field.

Strong understanding of psychiatric conditions and treatment plans.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
