Job Description: As a Project Manager specializing in Utility Scale Solar Construction, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the execution of large-scale solar projects from initiation to completion. Working remotely, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. Your role will involve comprehensive project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and effective communication to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, execution, and closure phases of utility-scale solar construction projects.

Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in coordination with stakeholders.

Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project outcomes.

Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to meet project milestones and quality standards.

Monitor project progress and performance, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to resolve technical issues and ensure project alignment.

Conduct regular site visits or inspections to assess project status and address any onsite challenges.

Facilitate project meetings, including kickoff meetings, progress reviews, and lessons learned sessions.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and project specifications.

Prepare project documentation, including reports, change orders, and closeout documents.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience managing utility-scale solar construction projects.

Strong understanding of solar energy systems, construction techniques, and industry best practices.

Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and empower team members.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.

Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address project challenges and drive solutions.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and permitting processes related to solar construction projects.

Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field (preferred).

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent (desired).(Locations listed are preferred but not limited to.)
