National Technician

Description:

The National IT Field Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Cat6 and fiber optic cabling infrastructure across multiple sites and locations nationwide. This role requires extensive travel to client sites and excellent technical skills in structured cabling systems, network hardware, and industry best practices.Requirements:

Responsibilities:

Install, terminate, test, and certify Cat6 and fiber optic cables adhering to industry standards and client specifications.

Perform cable pulling, dressing, and management in cable trays, raceways, and conduits.

Configure and install network hardware such as switches, routers, and patch panels.

Troubleshoot and resolve cabling and connectivity issues promptly.

Maintain accurate documentation, including cable labeling, test results, and as-built diagrams.

Coordinate with project managers, site contacts, and other technicians to ensure seamless installations.

Provide training and knowledge transfer to client personnel on cabling systems and network hardware.

Strictly adhere to safety protocols and follow best practices for cable installations.

Manage and maintain inventory of cabling equipment, tools, and materials.

Stay updated with the latest cabling standards, technologies, and industry trends.
