The Quality Engineer ensures the SentriLock product is reliable and produces expected performance for customers by creating and auditing the quality processes, testing and documentation and focused on continuous improvement.

Ensure Product Reliability and Performance

Develop and audit quality processes, testing, and documentation to ensure the SentriLock product meets expected performance standards.

Ensure compliance with ISO standards for both supplier and internal quality of physical product and firmware.

Continuous Improvement

Continually monitor quality results and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer expectations and internal standards.

Improve manufacturing tests and develop audit procedures to maintain high product quality.

Develop and maintain reporting systems to track progress toward production quality objectives and quickly identify manufacturing issues.

Properly document rationale and results of product, firmware, and process improvements.

Data Analysis and Interpretation

Extract, analyze, and interpret data from databases and data lakes to identify trends and drive product improvements.

Develop and maintain systems for consistent classification and reporting of defects and symptoms.

Support and Field Issue Resolution

Ensure continuous improvement of support for physical product and firmware issues in the field.

Monitor and investigate defects reported by installations and customer relationship managers (CRMs).

Utilize collected data to inform current and future product improvements.

Adherence and Training

Ensure adherence to quality requirements and processes.

Seek out and complete appropriate training, development, and research to stay updated on industry standards and best practices.

Field Quality

Utilize support and customer service management (CSM) tools for troubleshooting and analysis of lockbox health.

Analyze defect rates and specific issues by association, providing recommendations and support for events.

Conduct generation analysis to drive design and production changes as needed.

Process Development

Develop and improve lockbox health monitoring processes.

Enhance return merchandise authorization (RMA) processes and tools for diagnostics and defect tracking.

Redesign new-make repair processes for improved efficiency and effectiveness.

Other Duties as assigned.

Participate in projects assigned by manager.

Maintain and follow ISO standards.

Seek out and complete appropriate training, development, and research.

Knowledge of department processes

Support the mission, principles, and goals of the company.Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Required

3 Years Creating Quality Engineering Processes, Required

3 Years Leading Projects, Required

3 Years Six Sigma Black Belt, Preferred

3 Years SQL and Python, Preferred

***This position requires 3-4 days a week in office in West Chester, OH***
