As a Deal Desk Specialist at AssetWatch, you will be at the forefront of our sales process, ensuring deal accuracy and compliance. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with sales, finance, and legal teams to streamline the deal review process, manage pricing strategies, and oversee the creation of SOWs. Your expertise will be key in guiding sales reps through complex deal structures and terms, ensuring alignment with company policies and revenue recognition standards. Your role is critical in optimizing our sales cycle, enhancing deal profitability, and contributing to AssetWatch's growth with your focused attention on deal desk operations.
What You'll Do:
Perform regular data quality Q/A and clean-up within Salesforce and other systems as necessary
Support sales and cs teams by guiding reps to obtain necessary information, helping with data input into Salesforce, coaching reps on best practices and requirements, and generating and sending SOWs
Salesforce administration and documentation management
Maintain various records and files; such as account & contacts database for customers, products & price books, and SOW's
Special projects and tasks as identified by management
Lead, communicate, and train users on system processes surrounding the contract process
Who You Are:
Demonstrated familiarity with the Enterprise SaaS/B2B Industry - Deal Desk, Order Management, Finance Operations, Sales Operations or Pricing experience
Demonstrated ability to partner with GTM Teams and other cross functional departments
Experience in Direct and Channel Sales model
Basic understanding of revenue recognition rules
Highly organized, customer-focused, innovative and strong attention to details
Excellent communicator, self-aware, transparent, professional, and open to feedback
Ability to multitask and prioritize at times of high volume, schedule flexibility during End of Month, End or Quarter
Ability to prioritize and effectively manage distractions
Strong quantitative skills and highly proficient in Excel, Salesforce
Basic knowledge and understanding of a CPQ tool
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
1+ years of experience in sales operations or a related field (preferred but not mandatory for junior role).
