Job Purpose Seeking an experienced Paramedic to provide remote healthcare services to our clients in the Midland/Odessa area. You will be responsible for delivering compassionate, professional, and knowledgeable medical support to our team members in remote locations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide efficient healthcare services utilizing telemedicine technology
Assist physicians in all aspects of patient care while on project sites
Manage medical emergencies and provide ongoing patient care and follow-ups
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality
Develop and maintain Medical Emergency Response Plans (MERP)
Conduct DOT & Non-DOT urine drug collections (where applicable)
Maintain inventory of medications, supplies, and equipment
Participate in safety meetings and training as required
Perform client-requested on-site testing and education
Maintain regulatory compliance and follow company protocolsRequirements:
Working Conditions
Monday - Thursday; 10-hour shifts (overtime and additional shifts may be required)
Potential for extensive travel to remote project sites
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to work in outdoor and shop conditions during all seasons
Ability to assist with patient transport to helicopters
Physically capable of working in remote environments with delayed medical care
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
NREMT/State Paramedic Certification and License
Minimum 3 years of experience in an ambulance or emergency room setting
Minimum 1 year of experience in a remote medical environment
Successful completion of Advanced Remote Emergency Medical Management (AREMM) course (score = 80%)
BLS/ACLS certified
Urine Drug Screening Certification
Occupational medicine experience (PFT, Audio, RFT)
Strong safety record and knowledge of HSEQ practices
Leadership and teamwork skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Computer proficiency
Ability to work with diverse groups and operations
Experience
Paramedic: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification
BLS/ACLS Certification (Required)
Paramedic License (Required)
Texas Paramedic Certification (Required)
