Position Overview: The Education Trainer plays a vital role in providing professional development and training to educators, administrators, and educational institutions. This role involves designing and delivering dynamic workshops, seminars, and courses that empower participants to enhance their instructional practices, curriculum development, and student engagement strategies. The Education Trainer collaborates with stakeholders to identify training needs, develop customized learning solutions, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in education.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Program Development: Design, develop, and customize training programs, workshops, and professional development sessions based on the specific needs and objectives of educators, schools, districts, or educational organizations, incorporating best practices, research-based strategies, and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.

Facilitation and Delivery: Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, presentations, and workshops to educators and school staff, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques, technology tools, and multimedia resources to promote active learning, collaboration, and skill development.

Curriculum and Instructional Support: Provide guidance, resources, and support to educators in curriculum development, instructional design, assessment practices, and the integration of technology to enhance teaching effectiveness, student engagement, and learning outcomes.

Data Analysis and Feedback: Analyze participant feedback, evaluation data, and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of training programs, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to enhance the quality and impact of professional development initiatives.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with school leaders, district administrators, and educational partners to align training initiatives with organizational goals, priorities, and standards, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning across the educational community.

Professional Learning Communities: Facilitate and participate in professional learning communities, study groups, and collaborative networks to share best practices, exchange ideas, and support ongoing professional growth and development among educators and staff.

Research and Professional Development: Stay current with research, trends, and innovations in education, adult learning theory, instructional technology, and professional development practices, continuously expanding knowledge and skills to enhance training effectiveness and relevance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Teaching certification or licensure with demonstrated experience in K-12 education or adult education/training.

Proven experience in designing and delivering professional development/training programs for educators, with knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and assessment strategies.

Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences, convey complex concepts clearly, and foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Technological proficiency, with experience integrating technology tools, multimedia resources, and online learning platforms into training programs to enhance engagement and interactivity.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and project management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality training experiences.

Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams, build rapport with stakeholders, and establish productive partnerships to achieve shared goals and objectives in education and professional development.
