Cogency Inc is seeking a skilled Flexcube Tester to join our dynamic team. As a Flexcube Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Flexcube software solutions through rigorous testing and analysis. You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, design test cases, execute test plans, and report defects.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Flexcube applications.

Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure software quality.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios.

Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools and processes.

Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution of defects.

Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback on testability and quality.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in Flexcube testing.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience as a software tester, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.

Strong understanding of banking operations and processes, particularly related to core banking systems like Flexcube.

Hands-on experience with Flexcube testing, including functional testing of modules such as Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Treasury, and Payments.

Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Java, Python) is highly desirable.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
