Roles and Responsibilities:

- Conduct manual software testing, addressing queries related to requirements.

- Utilize Selenium IDE for script recording and test suite creation.

- Develop, review, and secure approval of software test plans from stakeholders.

- Generate and analyze test scenarios, cases, and data for module, integration, and system testing.

- Assess GUI, usability, and user-friendliness of web applications.

- Proficient in both manual and automation testing, including test plan development, case/script design, execution, defect management, risk analysis, and reporting.

- Versatile across Windows, Mainframes, and Unix/Linux environments.

- Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle in both Traditional (Waterfall) and agile methodologies.

- Skilled in Functionality, Regression, and UAT Testing, with the ability to work autonomously.

- Manage multiple projects, prioritizing tasks to meet critical deadlines.

- Possess excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities and quick learning ability.

- Bonus points for industry experience in Life Sciences/Pharmaceuticals.

- Take initiative to enhance product test coverage and effectiveness.

- Update testing artifacts according to new or modified requirements.

- Review test cases and data, providing constructive feedback for improvement.

- Document software defects and communicate them to developers using bug tracking systems.

- Address issues related to the test environment and team, escalating as necessary.

- Deliver essential defect information to developers for resolution.

- Compile lessons learned documents from past project testing experiences.

- Conduct product presentations as needed.

- Refine the test process based on feedback and personal judgment.

- Familiarity with Database testing and basic knowledge of SQL Server queries is advantageous.
