Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Brand Management:

Develop and implement strategic marketing plans aligned with Power-One's vision and industry trends.

Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth in the power electronics sector.

Enhance and safeguard the Power-One brand through cohesive and impactful marketing initiatives.

Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels and materials.

Prospecting and Lead Generation:

Implement lead generation strategies to drive business growth, collaborating closely with the sales team.

Identify and research potential clients or customers.

Generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, and online research.

Scout and travel frequently to meet new prospects, clients and customers.

Optimize lead nurturing processes to convert prospects into customers.

Customer Engagement:

Customer Relationship Management: In addition to managing their own customer relationships, the Sales Manager oversees the customer relationship management efforts of the sales team and service engineers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

Address customer inquiries and provide relevant information about products or services.

Track, maintain and follow up on new leads and enquiries to convert into successful orders.

Product Knowledge:

Possess in-depth knowledge of the products or services being offered.

Ability to successfully pitch to customer about the company, product range and services being offered.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and pricing.

Leading and Managing the Sales Team:

The Sales Manager leads a team of sales executives, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure individual and team success in achieving sales targets.

Team Development and Training:Â They identify training needs for sales executives and service engineers and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Sales Strategy Development:Â The Sales Manager collaborates with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and tactics, aligning them with company objectives and market trends.

Performance Monitoring and Evaluation:Â They monitor the performance of the sales team and service engineers, providing regular feedback, performance evaluations, and recognition for achievements.

Project Management Support:Â They provide project management support for larger installations involving UPS systems and solar inverters, working closely with the sales team and service engineers to ensure successful project delivery.

Technical Support and Training:Â The Sales Manager ensures that the sales team and service engineers are equipped with the necessary technical knowledge and skills to effectively promote and support the company's products.

Cross-functional Collaboration:Â They collaborate with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure alignment and support overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering(Mandatory)

Minimum 3 years work experience in UPS or Solar Industry (Mandatory)

Excellent communication (verbal, written) and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in operating Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Word for quotation preparation and documentation.

Basic technical knowledge about electrical components and products such as UPS systems, Solar Inverters, Solar Panels, EV chargers, etc.

Excellent grammatical typing skills with eye for detail.

Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with sales, product development, and other teams.

Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

Additional requirements:

Must be owning a two-wheeler for daily commute and work-related travel(Mandatory)

Should be residing in Mumbai with good familiarity of localities.

MBA in Marketing or any other stream(Beneficial)

Proven experience in marketing within the Power Electronics Industry(Beneficial)
