Financial Analyst
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes for JoAcademy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting, with a focus on both business-to-customer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
o Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling, to support strategic decision-making.
o Assist in the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
o Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to seasonal sales, installments collection, commissions, and Dossier sales.
2. Revenue and Cost Analysis:
o Analyze revenue streams from both B2C and B2B sales channels, including sales by product, region, and customer segment.
o Calculate and analyze the cost of sales, including production costs, content writing, software development, and delivery expenses.
3. Profitability Analysis:
o Evaluate the profitability of different product lines, courses, and marketing campaigns.
o Conduct sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of pricing changes, discounts, and promotions on profitability.
4. Financial Reporting and Dashboards:
o Prepare regular financial reports and dashboards for management review, highlighting key insights and performance trends.
o Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and scenario planning.
5. Expense Management:
o Analyze expenses across multiple categories, including cost of sales, content writing, software development, marketing, and rental expenses.
o Identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
6. Business Partnering and Decision Support:
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, production, and operations, to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.
o Evaluate investment proposals and business cases for new projects, studios, or expansion opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Professional certificates or Master's degree is a plus.
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the e-learning or digital education industry.
· Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
· Knowledge of e-commerce metrics and online marketing analytics.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
· Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
