Electrical design engineer

for Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer:1.

The Candidate should be bachelor's in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatro nics Engineering or related Engineering discipline with 5 to 8 years of experience.2.

Candidate must have hands on experience in 3D modelling & detailing tool called Creo.3.

Preferred candidate should have an experience in field of Electro-Mechanical domain such as enclosure and sheet metal design and detailing.4.

Preferred candidate should have an expertise in 3D Modelling, Assembling, Dra fting, detailing, sheet metal.5.

Candidate should have good knowledge on Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) and application to drawings.6.

Mandatory requirement to have knowledge on PLM (Product Life Management) Tool â€' Ex.

Teamcenter, Windchill.7.

Experi ence in the use of AutoCAD, CREO Schematic & CREO Harness or similar design packages are advantageous.8.

Experience in the use of E lectrical Schematic Design Tool called Eplan or similar design packages is advantageous.9.

Knowledge of reading / understanding of production & industrial drawings, electrical installation standards, and industrial controls is advantageous.10.

Support for Electr ical & Electro-Mechanical Engineering team in terms of design and development of Solutions products and components.11.

Design of co ntrols and protection for generators, motors, and related equipment.12.

Knowledge of electrical Wiring schematics & harness design.

13.

Experience of working with SAP or similar Bill of Materials software / ERP tool in a previous role.14.

Ability to create and i nterpret engineering drawings in accordance with recognized standards.15.

Experience of product development with a sound technical background and a good knowledge of current engineering design practice.16.

Specification, Technical Calculations and requisition of components and services.17.

Preferable knowledge on Diesel engines, Genset package and its control systems.18.

Provide technical support to Manufacturing and cross functional departments to ensure standards compliance for products and components.19.

Very good hands-on experience in handling Microsoft Office tools â€' Ex.

Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.20.

Excellent written and verbal communic ation one-on-one and in larger settings and capable to work with Global work force.21.

Good interpersonal, teamwork and collaborati on skills to develop a cooperative working relationship with others inside and outside of the department.22.

Proven ability to perf orm complex assignments, prioritize workload, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.23.

Familiarity of electrical standards a nd certifications including SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers), ANSI (American National Standards Institute), ISO (International Organization for Standardization), IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission), NFPA (National Fire Protection Association), NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association), UL (Underwriters Laboratories), RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive), and CSA Class 1 Div 2 (Canadian Standards Association) requirements.
