As Lead Manufacturing Engineer, you will provide guidance and support for solving complex technical problems that arise in production. Working with leading-edge technology, you will make key decisions, resolve issues and oversee projects to shape enhancements. You'll unite cross-functional teams to connect, share knowledge, innovate and to develop improvements.

As a Lead Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Driving rigor in process capability assessment, process layout, tooling and equipment development

Working with the Operations, facilities and maintenance team to implement improvements and ensure the required product capacity / capability is in place before it is required by customer demand.

Validating design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment.

Troubleshooting shop floor issues related with ME, analyze root Cause, implement corrective actions in shop to meet Ontime delivery of product dispatch.

Ensuring manufacturing processes are comply with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Standard.

Creating routings for manufacturing parts and assemblies.

Reviewing and identify Customer's Weld requirement, Develop Welding procedure specification (WPS), Procedure Qualification Record (PQR), Welder performance qualification (WPQ).

Selecting & Qualifying parts suitable for Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Tungsten Inert gas welding (TIG), Shielded Metal Arc welding (SMAW), Plasma Transferred Arc welding (PTAW) for materials like SS316, WCC, WC6, WC9, C12a, Inconel, Monel, etc

Involving in New Product Development (NPD) program from design stage until qualification by leveraging technical expertise to increase efficiency and profitability.

Troubleshooting weld defects, analyze root Cause, implement corrective actions in shop to meet Ontime delivery of product dispatch.

Technical support to external welding vendors in WPS/PQR/WPQ qualification, Review, Process Audit.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a B.E Degree in Industrial / Welding / Mechanical Engineering.

Have 10 to 12 years of overall experience in manufacturing industry and atleast 3 to 4 years of experience in welding.

Have Extensive knowledge in Welding techniques like Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Tungsten Inert gas welding (TIG), Shielded Metal Arc welding (SMAW), Plasma Transferred Arc welding (PTAW).

Have In-depth knowledge of standard like ASME Sec. IX, ASME Sec. V, EN Standards

Have Certification - AWS Certified Welding Inspector, NDT Level II in Liquid Penetrant testing (LPT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiography Testing (RT).

Have Ability to interpret drawings, technical specification.

Have Knowledge and experience on manufacturing processes like machining, assembly and testing

Have Knowledge in Six Sigma techniques for Capability Analysis, Trending analysis, Gauge R&R, FMEA

Have Good analytical skills and problem-solving approach.
