Key Responsibilities:

In Maersk we are committed to decarbonizing our customers' supply chains as the global integrator of container logistics. To help us develop opportunities to reduce our emissions in the SCM space, we are looking for a 'Advanced Analytics Specialist' who will be working closely together with the business teams within Maersk helping them in finding and implementing opportunities for emissions performance optimization and decarbonization across our products.

You will:

Drive or act in key roles in complex cross functional projects related to building a strong emissions data foundation in collaboration with our product delivery platform teams.

Analyze and apply analytical calculations to reported energy performance data to determine accurate emissions performance of business units within Maersk.

Provide key stakeholders across Maersk with fact-based analytical insights and actionable recommendations to improve emissions performance.

Work independently for solving complex problems with minimum guidance.

Apply SCM domain knowledge and analytics to practical problems to develop new innovative products for emission reductions and fuel optimization across Maersk operations.

You have:

Hands-on experience with analytical tools such as Power BI and SQL is mandatory, with a preference for 3-5 years of hands on experience.

Essential skills include client and stakeholder management, excellent communication, and proficiency in story writing.

Technical proficiency in Python/Machine Learning is preferred.

PL3 Certification is preferred, along with familiarity with DAX.

Ability to understand and communicate complex concepts to internal / external stakeholders.

Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail, ability to research and resolve complex issues.

Experience in evaluating and applying the Machine Learning models to solve the problem.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast paced environment.

Passion to make a difference in the field of climate change and sustainability.

Relevant experience with data analytics in the logistics domain, probably having a degree in Supply Chain Management or Sustainability/Environment Science.
