Must have working experience into Autodesk Inventor Software.

Responsibilities -

To take care of design and drawing responsibilities of -

in gas meter, electric connectors, mechanical components

hangers, clips, brackets, sheet metal covers/enclosures.

Â

Key Deliverables

Design and develop mechanical components forgas meter, connectors, mechanical fittings, Safety gloves, insulation and related solutions: Utilize your mechanical engineering expertise to design and develop gas metering solutions, ensuring they meet accuracy, reliability, and performance requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, technicians, and quality assurance personnel, to understand customer needs and translate them into effective designs.

Create detailed design specifications: Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software Inventor (for 3D modeling) and AutoCAD (for 2D drawing creation) to create detailed design, specifications, assembly drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM), engineering documentation.

Prototype and test designs: Collaborate with other stakeholders to build prototypes. Conduct testing and validation to ensure prototypes meet performance specifications and regulatory requirements.

 Interact/ Visit nearby vendors for manufacturing

Educational Qualification

BE/ B.Tech or Diploma in mechanical engineering

Preferred Industry Experience: Gas meters, Connectors, Fittings, Safety gloves, insulation, glands, earthing products.

Â

Professional Experience

Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as Inventor and AutoCAD.

Knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Experience in prototyping, testing, and validation.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

ERP related skills to ensure BOM, routing and product costing
