Job Description –

1) Lead Development of cash Depository system Electronic Products Hardware Development a) Development of Hardware for interfacing with Cash Validator Product and cloud. Selection of processor, peripheral components, cash validator. b) Exploring options to select open source boards. c) PCB board bring-up and debugging for in-house design PCBs. Coordinate for PCB layout and PCB high frequency signal integrity testing and thermal testing. Firmware Development a) Writing board level drivers / integration with SDKs for peripheral interfaces like Touch screen, printer, credit / debit card readers, Cash validator. b) Interface data with Bank-s CBS for customized products. c) Develop Firmware to fulfil all features listed in product brief. Cloud and Mobile / web App interface a) Define Cloud API for interfacing data with cloud. b) Define APIs for interfacing with mobile / web application. Integration with CBS a) Integration with CBS for data exchange and update records. b) Ensure PCIDSS compliance and VAPT certifications.

2) Coordination with Mechanical Design Team a) Coordinate with mechanical design team for determining PCB size and fitment of other electronics components its integration in mechanical products and embedded technology adaption across all the products.

3) Product Certification Coordinate for testing and certification of new products with national and international certification agencies like VDS, UL etc. PCI-DSS and VAPT compliance.

4) Product Enhancement and customization Maintenance and troubleshooting of existing hardware / firmware bug fixes. Hunt for latest in currency validator domain to get their road map and undertake product enhancement accordingly. Support marketing teams for bulk enquiries for any customized requirement. 5) Organization Imperatives a) Participating in divisional initiatives like IMS, Kaizens, Business Excellence, PMO, etc

REQUISITE QUALIFICATION

Essential:

B.E. Electronics /Extc/ Computer Engineering

Preferred:

Knowledge of Cloud, native languages like Swift / Kotlin

REQUISITE WORK EXPERIENCE

Essential:

Minimum 5 years

Preferred:

Cloud certified Solution Architect will be added advantage. Experience in Hardware and Firmware development of Arm Cortex core processor-based product design. Design experience in Electronic Security Products. Must have knowledge of interfacing and authenticating credit / debit cards and readers. Knowledge of PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry - Data Security Standards) is a must. Knowledge of integrating with Core Banking Solution (CBS). Must have worked on various communication protocols like serial (RS232C, RS485), USB, Ethernet, IoT, CAN Bus etc, Interfacing with touch screen displays, keypad and other I/O controllers. Working on open source hardware in Linux, interfacing drivers, Sending and receiving messages via HTTPS, SMTP, FTP, DNS etc. Must have exposure on interfacing of cash validator / bill authenticator with developed / open source PCB. Must have worked to send / receive data from cloud and interface multiple cloud API and interfacing with mobile apps.

Functional Skills - Linux Driver development in C / C++ - Integrating with Bill validators - API Integration. - High Frequency signal integrity test, thermal test etc. for PCB layout. - Third party SDK integration.
