Job Description

The primary role of Senior Software Engineer within our Research and Development team is to create specifications and designs for new products or improvements and enhancements to existing products.

This role will encompass various aspects of development including AWS Kubernetes, GitHub CI/CD as well as some core development.

You will become part of a high functioning agile team using very modern technology. The team is creating the next generation suite of EHR applications. You will be collaborating with teammates across the globe and in different time zones.

If you are a developer who knows cloud engineering and Containerization or a Cloud Engineer who is also interested in doing some development this will be good fit or you.

Responsibilities

Create and Manage AWS cloud infrastructure like EKS cluster, S3, Secret Manager etc.

Create DevOps pipeline to deploy containerized solution to AWS EKS cluster.

Use Infrastructure as code pattern.

Build microservice in .Net or Java. Its ok if you are not an expert in this but willing to learn.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers on the team.

Participate in architectural, design, and code reviews providing insight to other engineers and their solutions.

Spend time to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Work in an agile fast paced environment where continuous delivery is highly valued.

Build and deploy software packages using Continuous Integration and Continuous Development best practices for delivering software as a service.

Required:

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or relevant streams.

7+ IT experience

3+ Years experience in Cloud/AWS

Experience in Kubernetes EKS/ ECS

Experience in AWS Networking

Experience in AWS access control

Experience in S3

Logging and Observability tools like Datadog

CDK/ Terraform Infrastructure as Code Tools

Preferred:

Webservice/API development using Java or .Net.

Azure Kubernetes

ADOPS

Any experience in React or Angular
