JR54033 Staff Engineer, mNAND PE Manufacturing Firmware Validation

Responsibilities And Tasks
You will be responsible for working as part of a team validating the Manufacturing firmware being developed for a cutting edge storage controller design. You will interact with the architecture, hardware, firmware, and firmware test teams located in multiple geographies to gain a full understanding of the firmware design.
You will use your understanding of the firmware design to define test plans and to develop automated test scripts utilizing industry standard and internally developed test tools and platforms. You will oversee the execution of the automated tests run as part of a firmware continuous integration environment using software simulation and an FPGA platform. You will triage failures, file bug reports, and help the development teams with isolating issues.
Experience / Skills
In depth knowledge and extensive experience with embedded firmware Validation
Expertise in the use of scripting languages, programming tools and environments
Extensive programming experience in C++ and Python
Experience in the storage industry in Mobile NAND,SSD, HDD, storage systems, or a related technology
Understanding of storage interfaces including ideally UFS/PCIe/NVMe, SATA, or SAS
Experience with NAND flash and other non-volatile storage
Good to have knowledge on Jenkins
Ability to work independently with a minimum of day-to-day supervision
Ability to work in a cross functional team and under the pressure of multiple priorities
Education & Experience:
Position requires minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
