Job Description

Android Framework Architect:

Ability to understand the architecture of existing system, identify the architecture flow and re-architect the Custom Android system. Also, re-design the Android Framework components Like Audio Manager, Network Connectivity Services, Security Providers, View Systems, Package Manager, Window Manager, System Services, Input Manager, Connectivity Services.

Replace the alternate / newer version of open source/Native Layer components used in the system like Redsocks, iJetty, TensorFlow, SE-Linux, or any other similar components.

Fix the architecture level defect reported by Customer and customer's end user(s).

Primary Skill set:

Expert in Java coding, Hands on Experience in Android Framework and Android NDK (Android Native Development Kit) – It includes following Sub-topics:

Work experience in Android 6/9 /10/11 and beyond

Android framework internals

Android System Services and customization of system services

Hands-on Experience on few or more Android Framework components that are listed below:

Audio Manager, Network Connectivity Services, Security Providers, View Systems, Package Manager, Window Manager, System Services, Input Manager, Connectivity Services.

Implicit and explicit Intent(s)

Whitelist Applications

Manifests and Permissions

HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer)

HIDL (HAL Interface Definition Language)

Android System-wide Proxy, Open source transparent proxy

• Language Proficiency:

o Japanese: JLPT N3 (minimum) or above level
