QA Automation Engineer

Carrying out detailed manual testing and automation testing using selenium with java.

Identify and write positive, negative and exception test scenarios pertaining to Unit testing, System Testing.

Test Execution, Defect reporting, Defect Analysis & Tracking till closure

Identify performance bottlenecks and parameters, help Dev team in Optimizing DB queries and Stored procedures, Data structures, Indexes, DB Normalization.

Ability to test Vulnerability of web-based application manually or by use of open-source automation tool.

Ensure that the testing guidelines and quality processes are in place and are followed

Read and understand requirement & solution documents.

Follow testing plan/schedule & adhere to quality processes

Should be able to provide production support whenever needed.

Must Skills

Knowledge of testing processes & activities (STLC)

Exposure to client support

Good communication skills – verbal & written

Desirable Skills

Knowledge of Quality Center.

Familiarity with deployment of web applications

Experience in Web service testing using Soap UI tool, postman etc..

Worked on automation tools
