2. Project Engineering Development
Ensure compliance with the Statutory Authority Codes (NBC, CFO-NOC, etc.)
Review of Design Brief Report (DBR).
Review of Schematic Design (SD) for HVAC, plumbing and firefighting.
Review of space plan for the plant rooms and major equipment.
Provide Value Engineering suggestions and necessary corrections to optimize the engineering.
Review of Detailed Design.
Review of engineering calculations such as, water demand calculations, cooling load estimate, sizing calculations of the pumps, chillers, AHUs etc.
Attend coordination meeting/WebEx with consultants and architects on a weekly basis.
Review of Tender Specification, Tender Drawings & BOQ.
Review of Good for Construction drawings, for constructability.
Attend the periodical site coordination meetings of all projects.
3. Value Engineering
Have a systematic and organized approach to the design and provide cost effective value engineering solutions, without sacrificing the functionality of design.
Reviewing the company ESG compliant goals and assessing products or services in the market related to ESG.
Review and advice on the value engineering suggestions made by the Contractors.
Attending Seminars conducted by the Specialists, International Organizations, and the Manufacturers to understand the enhancement tools and innovative technologies.
Assessing relevant products/manufacturers in the market to prepare techno-commercial comparisons.
4. Liasoning Support for HRC, MOEF, BMC, M&E Submissions
Provide support and prepare documents to enable submission to the Authorities listed below:
BMC
M&E
High Rise Committee.
MOEF
Meet with the authorities to discuss the project requirements.
Explain the Schemes to the Authority.
5. Tender Documentation
Collate and forward the Tender Documentation (Schematic Drawings, Specification, Tender Drawings and BOQ) to the contracts department.
The Tender Documentation (TD) package shall comprise the complete set of 100% DD drawings, the final Specifications, Schematics and BOQ for the project.
6. Post Contract Administration
Arranging and providing water supply, drainage, air-conditioning for site offices.
Attending weekly site coordination meeting - Internal
Site Coordination meetings/Workshops with the Contractor to resolve issues.
7. Contractor's Submittal Review
Addressing the technical concerns and RFIs raised by the Contractors.
Review and approval of the shop drawings and material submittals made by the Contractors.
Review and approve the alternative material proposed by the Contractors.
8. Troubleshooting Support
Providing technical support, assisting, and facilitating in resolving any issues related to MEP that arises from the existing projects.
Co-ordinate with PMS for the refurbishment/ modification of existing plant and equipment in handed over projects.
Reviewing of CRM teams experiences/observations and incorporating them in current design to incorporate uniform design throughout all projects.
9. Software Skills
Well versed with BIM/Revit, Navis works, Auto CAD
Able to create the standard MEP calculations sheets
Good in Microsoft office such as Word, Excell and Power Point etc.
Well versed with HAP
Well versed with hydraulic calculations
