Job Title: Merchandiser & Product Development

We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Merchant with good PD skills to join our team. This role is crucial in shaping and executing our merchandising strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive sales, and enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities:

Negotiate with vendors for favorable terms, secure exclusive products, and ensure high-quality merchandise.

Create competitive costings for International Buyers and Buying houses based on Tech Packs.

Managing timely sampling to send to customers.

Great vendor management, by cultivating strong vendor relationships, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and timelines.

Implement effective forecasting and demand planning processes for timely order management.

Make data-driven recommendations for assortment adjustments, pricing strategies, and promotions.

Manage merchandising budget effectively, meeting financial goals and maintaining profitability.

Very strong communication skills to make sure client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

Proven experience in a merchandising and PD role.

Excellent negotiation skills.

Excellent communication and emailing skills.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Proficiency in merchandising, communication, fabric selection, garment costings and other relevant skills.

Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
