Logistics Coordinator

As a Logistics Executive at Bombay Sweet Shop, you will be responsible for managing the efficient dispatch of orders from our main outlet in Byculla. This includes overseeing the daily dispatches that we ship within Mumbai and Pan India, coordinating deliveries with the riders and vendors, reducing roadblocks that arise, and ensuring that products are reaching the customers. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and cost-effective movement of all our orders to our customers.

This role reports to the Director of Operations and will work out of Bombay Sweet Shop, Byculla.

Our online venture - enthucutlet is a bimonthly food mag that brings you unusual stories about food in India, and our all-day cafe Veronica's, holds a piece of Mumbai's heart in the iconic Jude Bakery, and showcases the best sandwiches, coffee, bakes, and wine! Our newest restaurant, Papa's launched in February 2024, boldly breaks the rules of Indian cuisine and fine dining to offer an elevated and adventurous interpretation of its comforting forms and flavors.

Responsibilities:

Plan and dispatch all our Mumbai and Pan India orders as per schedule

Track and Manage same-day orders and plan delivery routes efficiently

Coordinate with the internal teams such as Operations, Sales, and Customer Satisfaction to ensure overall operational efficiency

Assign scheduled deliveries to our delivery riders and vendor partners

Monitor the progress of our deliveries and proactively address delays

Analyze data to improve efficiency and control logistics costs across all our channels.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in Logistics in a company/delivery set up like Dominoes is mandatory

Graduate in any discipline preferred

Basic to Intermediate understanding of Mumbai city on Google Maps

Open to learning & working with new logistics software & apps

Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of MS Excel

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
